My Lullaby

A tooth fairy bedtime story for kids

A comforting bedtime story for a child with a wobbly tooth — a kind little tooth fairy shows that losing a tooth just means you're growing.

My Lullaby writes a brand-new story every night, starring your own child.

The Kind Little Tooth Fairy

In a snug little house, a child lay in bed, holding something very small and very precious: a tiny tooth, that had wobbled and wobbled all week, and had finally, that very evening, come out.

"What happens now?" the child wondered, tucking the little tooth carefully under the pillow. It felt strange to lose a tooth — a tiny bit worrying, even, in the dark.

But the child did not know that far away, in a house made of moonlight, a little tooth fairy was already lacing up her soft silver shoes. For this was her most important job — and the gentlest job in all the world.

When the house was quiet and the child was fast asleep, the tooth fairy flew in on wings as light as a whisper. She was very small, and very kind, with a lantern that glowed like a firefly and a smile as warm as a candle.

She tiptoed across the pillow, quiet as a moonbeam. "What a beautiful little tooth," she whispered. "You took such good care of it. Well done, little one."

Gently, ever so gently, she slipped the tiny tooth into her velvet pouch — for tooth fairies keep every baby tooth safe, polished bright, and turned into a tiny twinkling star. And in its place, softly, she left a little gift, and a sprinkle of good dreams.

"There's nothing to worry about," she whispered to the sleeping child. "Losing a tooth just means you're growing — growing big and strong and wonderful. A brand-new tooth is already on its way."

And with a flutter of her whisper-soft wings, she was gone, back out into the starry night, off to visit the next sleeping child.

So if you have a wobbly tooth of your own, don't you worry one bit. Just tuck it under your pillow, close your eyes, and sleep. The kind little tooth fairy will take good care of all the rest.
