My Lullaby

Bedtime stories for babies

For babies, a bedtime story is less about the words and more about your warm voice, the cuddle, and a calm, repeated rhythm that says: it's time to sleep. Here's a gentle one for tonight.

My Lullaby sends a new, age-appropriate story every night, starring your little one.

The Little Moon Says Goodnight

Up in the soft, dark sky, the little moon was glowing.

It looked down at all the sleepy things below.

"Goodnight, birds," said the little moon. The birds tucked their heads under their wings.

"Goodnight, flowers," said the little moon. The flowers closed their petals tight.

"Goodnight, little one," said the little moon, shining softly through your window.

The whole world was warm and still.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

And you, snug and safe, drifted gently off to sleep.

The Lullaby of the Rain

Listen. It is raining.

The rain taps on the roof. Tap, tap, tap. It runs along the window in slow, shining lines.

It falls on the garden and the garden drinks it up. It falls on the road and makes it black and glossy. It falls on the leaves, and every leaf answers with a tiny sound of its own.

Inside, it is warm and dry.

The rain does not mind that you are sleeping. It will go on all night without you, tapping softly on the roof, saying the same gentle thing over and over.

Sleep, little one. The rain will keep singing.

Tap, tap, tap.

Goodnight, Little Hands

Goodnight, little hands. You held on tightly today.

Goodnight, little feet. You kicked and stretched and pushed against the world to see what it would do.

Goodnight, little eyes. You looked at so many new things — the light on the ceiling, a face, a colour you had never seen before.

Goodnight, little ears. You heard a voice you know, and you turned towards it.

It was a big day. It is allowed to be over now.

The room is dark. The blanket is warm. Somebody who loves you is nearby, and will still be nearby in the morning.

Goodnight, little one. Sleep well.
